Early life and education

Radhika Merchant, an alumna of The Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, École Mondiale World School, and BD Somani International School, earned her International Baccalaureate diploma. She graduated in political science from New York University in 2017. After completing her education, she returned to India and interned with consulting firms such as India First Organization and Desai & Diwanji. Later, she joined Isprava, a Mumbai-based real estate company, as a junior sales manager before participating in the family business. Radhika is also an animal welfare advocate and enjoys trekking, swimming, and reading. In May 2022, she performed at an Arangetram ceremony after eight years of Bharatanatyam training under the guidance of Guru Bhavana Thakar from the Mumbai-based dance academy Shree Nibha Arts.
