Omkareshwar Temple is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site located on an islet called Mandhata in the Narmada River in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the most sacred sanctuaries dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is mentioned in sacred Hindu texts like the Vedas and Puranas.
