Moti Magri
Moti Magri holds historical significance as it commemorates the valorous deeds of Maharana Pratap, a Rajput king who courageously resisted Mughal rule in India. The memorial atop the hill pays homage to Maharana Pratap and his loyal horse Chetak, who played a crucial role in the Battle of Haldighati against Emperor Akbar's forces in 1575. Despite being severely wounded, Chetak saved Maharana Pratap[1]'s life, symbolizing loyalty and bravery. The memorial, built in 1948 by Maharana Bhagwat Singh, includes an 11-foot bronze statue of Maharana Pratap riding Chetak, serving as a reminder of his indomitable spirit and commitment to defending his kingdom.
